The scavenger hunt archive I used was one that has images of thousands of birds of North America. http://www.tsuru-bird.net/image.htm They are listed by species and it is very easy to navigate. The main page doesn't have thumbnails or anything, so you have to know what kind of bird you are looking for. All of the images I looked at were easy to see and clearly labeled with the bird's name and location. I specifically chose the owl section to narrow down the amount of images my students were to look at. I wanted them to look at the differences and similarities between the different types of owls and whether it correlates to their habitat.
